At 5 years old, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Inflammatory Joint Arthritis.
A star athlete in jr. high, high school and college, by the time I was
in my twenties, I was in chronic pain from the arthritis and numerous
injuries, I had endured over the years. Out of desperation, I decided

my pain and, since I had no pain to limit my activities, I ended-up with
