| FIBROMYALGIA:
A COMPLEX DISEASE
QUESTION:
I
have had fibromyalgia for at least 10 years, along with Diabetes
for 12, fine nerve neropathy, Chronic Fatigue, and now migraines.
I DID read your answer to some one else with fibromyalgia.
I am in pain all the time and can no longer work. I am now
walking with a walker, because I fall or loose my balance
frequently. How do I get my doctor to understand the severity
of pain I live with and inability to work. I have applied
for disability and can not get my doctor to help in this regards.
Please give me some ideas, for I feel at my wits end. Thank
you for your consideration. Sharon
ANSWER:
Dear Sharon,
Thanks
for your email. Fibromyalgia is a complex disease. Migraines
are an associated component but Diabetes is not. You certainly
need some comprehensive help. Conventionally trained doctors
only know drugs, which can often make the condition worse
over time, or at least never correct the underlying cause
of the problem. I would recommend that you forget about trying
to convert your doctor. You can take the recommended nutritional
supplements on your own without a prescription. If you would
like individual assistance, I would be happy to help you.
You will need to come to my clinic for your initial work-up
and we can follow-up thereafter by phone. To schedule a consultation,
please call 480-991-5092.
In over
17 years of clinical experience I have found that several
areas must be addressed in order to help the body restore
the balance. Fibromyalgia is a condition involving a dysregulation
of the energy producing systems in the muscles. To restore
the balance I recommend the following:
1.
Peak Advantage High Potency Multi-Vita/Min
(2 Caps twice daily): provides the vitamins and minerals,
especially B6 and Magnesium necessary to produce ATP energy
in the mitochondria of the muscle cells.
2. GSE
Ultra 110 (2 Caps twice daily): provides
protection and restoration of the connective tissue.
3. CoQ10
100mg ( 1 Cap
twice daily): provides the essential oxygen & energy
carrying molecule in the muscles.
4. Optimum
Vitality (St. John's Wort, Ginseng, and
Gingko biloba: 1 Cap 3 times daily): provides stimulation
and support of the neurohormones necessary to elevate mood
and energy naturally.
5. 5-HTP
(5-HyddroxyTryptophan) is the nutritional building block
of Serotonin. Patients with Fibromyalgia have been found
to be low in Serotonin. The dose required to treat Fibromyalgia
is typically 600-900mg per day. (Note: 5-HTP should be balanced
with L-Tyrosine to prevent imbalances of Norepinephdrine
and Epinephrine) To learn more about Serotonin, Norepinephrine
and Epinephrine or to test your levels click

6. Fibroplex:
Take 2 Tablets twice daily. This product supplies essential
support for energy metabolism and neuromuscular function
with chelated Magnesium, Malic acid and B Vitamins.

information on items 1-5 you may click on their name above,

through my clinic to patients.
Best in
health,
Dr. Clark
