Hansen, I read about Saw Palmetto Plus to reduce or cure BPH. I
have tried substantial doses of Saw Palmetto in the past, with little
or no change in
symptoms. What do you suggest? Thanks, Robert
ANSWER:
Dear Robert, Thanks
for your email. The key to finding a high quailty Saw Palmetto product
is to make sure it contains 85-95% Fatty Acid Sterols AND then you
need to take 160 to 320 mg twice daily for at least 30 days. That
is why I recomend Saw
Palmetto Plus, it contains the correct amount of Sterols.
If you
have tried this and are still having prostate symptoms then
you may want to add a product called Prostane (2 tablets twice
daily). Prostane is an Aryvedic formula with good clinical
support for Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). I recommend
Prostane to my patients who are still having prostate symptoms
after taking Saw Palmetto Plus. I have attached two references
supporting the clinical usefulness of Prostane in the treatment
of BPH.
