QUESTION:
Our 3 1/2 year old son was diagnosed at age 2 1/2
with a form of Autism
called Pervasive Development Disorder also called PDD. ADHD is part
of PDD.
He currently takes 5mg of Ritalin a day given in the morning. I
would like
to remove him from the Ritalin and use Acuity. His specialist supports
us. Can Acutiy be administered to a 3 1/2 year old.
ANSWER:
Yes. Acuity can by used in a 3 1/2 year old child. The dose I typically
prescirbe in my clinic for that age is 1 capsule twice daily. Since
a child that usually cannot swallow pills, you will need to open
the capsule up and pour the contents into applesauce or yogourt
or something similar.
You may want
to consider trying my product called Cognition. I have some incredible
results using this formula with autistic children. It was designed
as a memory enhancing and neuroprotective formula for adults, but
has been miraculous in autistic children. For a 3-12 year old child,
one capsule once daily of the Cognition would be the appropriate
dose. For information, please click
