ADHD
- is it a hoax?
QUESTION:
Dear Dr.
Hansen Are you aware that ADHD is a hoax? Ref. "CHADD
claims that ADHD is a "neurobiological" disorder,
despite the fact that there is no science-based evidence to
support this?" please see www.cchr.org - the article
on 'What They Aren't Telling You' . The whole website details
all aspects of this pyschiatric fraud and the drugs in use.
All the best Anthea
ANSWER:
Dear
Anthea,
I have seen enough children with ADHD to know that it is real,
but treatment with amphetamines and other psychoactive drugs
is not the answer. I agree with the Citizens Commission on
Human Rights International (CCHR)that the ADHD drugs are dangerous
and are killing children. Like the CCHR, I feel strongly that
educators must not be allowed to pressure parents into putting
their children on drugs to treat ADHD. I support the US House
of Representatives "Child Medication Safety Act of 2003,"
which calls for states to implement procedures prohibiting
school personnel from requiring a child to obtain a drug under
the Controlled Substances Act, which includes stimulants and
some antidepressants and I urge the Senate and the President
to make it law.
